What do you attract?

Sitting here looking out my window, I see my favorite tree is starting to bloom. Soon the white flowers will be in full bloom, and their beautiful scent will be wafting through my whole house. What a blessing.

Third week of quarantine here in Virginia, and not everything has come to a halt. The flowers continue to bloom and the sun continues to shine. And you know dusk will come and signal the end of another day.

How fortunate are we, that there are circumstances that we do not control?!

I can barely manage myself during this pandemic – forget managing the fricken universe! Happily, I haven’t been given that responsibility. Also, happily, the universe doesn’t stop. Pandemic or not.

I don’t have to stop either – and neither do you.

I’m using this time to find clarity within myself. Asking questions like – What circumstances am I attracting into my life? What kind of people am I attracting? And most importantly, why?

Clarity begins with me. By taking this time to spend honestly with myself, I’m re-learning about my likes, my dislikes, my passions, and my aversions.

What we are today, is a sum of all our thoughts and actions, subconscious or not, throughout these years.

To attract meaningful people and experiences into our lives, we need to understand who we are. Being true to ourselves, we are able to enter into other human connections from an authentic place. Therefore, attracting opportunities that help us grow further into our true potential.

Where do we start?

Start with one aspect of your life that needs clarity. One of the things I’m doing during this time, is taking a course on budgeting and finance. (Because god knows – my vision is blurry there – And! I’m aiming to attract the right financial circumstances into my life ; ))

The world hasn’t stopped. We’ve been given a tremendous opportunity to explore our unique selves and delve deeper into who we truly are. A wonderful side effect being, that we can contribute to the wellness of the world from an honest place, in an honest way.

Remember, opportunity is a tricky lady. She has a sneaky way of coming in through the back door when nobody’s looking. You can catch her – as long as you’re keeping an eye out for her.
