I am an artist, dream chaser, and a mama to three beautiful children, who motivate me everyday to live a conscious life, filled with passion and purpose.A contemporary painter based in Northern Virginia, I was born and raised in India. 

Drawing inspiration from the beauty and solitude of nature, as well as the subtle nuances in the human form, my work frequently weaves together the figure, color, and pattern into an interwoven landscape. 

The over riding theme in my work is one of quiet and contemplation. I like to compare my paintings to taking a stroll through a garden. Typically, gardens are filled with color and vibrancy. On the one hand, it's an assault on your senses and, yet, there is a solitude here that beckons you to clear your mind, and encourages your contemplation. 

My paintings are a celebration of life, and of love. Of joy, and of laughter. A celebration of creation and creating, where the viewer is invited into a non-judgmental space. A space that is tolerant, welcoming, safe, and nurturing. 

Here, you can linger awhile, stay as long as you like, and be free to be you.
